2013年12月26日晚7:00,川外学坛“学术大视野”教师讲堂学术讲座在博文楼六楼报告厅举行。此次讲座由西南大学博士生导师杨炳钧教授主讲,报告题目为“术语界定规范度的一种评估模式”。杨全红教授主持此次讲座,姜孟教授、侯国金教授、以及全校师生参加了此次讲座。
首先,2013级研究生李宇同学热情地同全体师生分享了本次学坛的两则箴言:“日知其所亡,月无忘其所能,可谓好学也已矣----《论语·子张》”和“言之者无罪,闻之者足以戒-----《诗序》”。两则箴言,向我们诠释了古人对“好学”的定义,以及劝诫我们应该怎样看待批评。
接下来,杨炳钧教授做主题报告。在报告中,杨教授首先简述了术语学的有关思想,指出了术语界定存在的问题与他此研究的目的,并向我们介绍了他此研究的理论基础。杨教授认为,术语规范度的评估不宜单纯从语言层面进行,还应当考虑非语言层面。而非语言层面的评估模式应从言辞整体性与人文整体性考虑。随后,杨教授用具体的实例来说明如何从言辞整体性与人文整体性考虑术语的规范度。最后,杨教授得出结论:术语的规范只是一个度的问题;语言层面的评估模式和非语言层面的评估模式两者结合应用,有助于术语规范度的评估;在术语的规范化过程中,关键不在于绝对统一,而在于提供必要的参照;此外,规范之后还需大力推广。
在自由讨论阶段,大家针对本次报告或提出问题,或阐述自己的意见。对来自同学们的问题,杨炳钧教授进行了深入细致的解答,进一步诠释了自己的观点和看法。
最后,侯国金教授、姜孟教授等都做了简短点评,大家高度评价杨教授报告的学术价值,指出其理论建构与实料分析相结合,视角新颖,阐释深刻,逻辑严谨,结论独到;同时,报告信息丰富,知识跨度大,富有启迪,让大家受益匪浅,印象深刻。本次学坛活动在全体成员的热烈掌声中圆满结束,杨炳钧教授还亲切地与同学们签名合影。

sisu academic forum “an evaluation model for term normalization”heldsuccessfully
at 7 pm, dec 26th, 2013, the sisu academic forum was held successfully as scheduled. this symposium, entitled “an evaluation model for term normalization”, was presented by professor yang bingjun and hosted by professor yangquanhong. prof hou guojin, prof jiang meng, and students all over the school attended this symposium.
at the beginning of the forum, two maxims were shared by grade 2013 postgraduate li yu with all members, which opened a good start and left a deep impression on all the audiences.
prof yang's presentation included two parts: the first part was about his experience in translation-teaching, the second part was about“an evaluation model for term normalization”, which was the main part of his presentation. to begin with, prof yang bingjun suggested that the teaching patterns should be diverse in order to encourage students in translating and improve their standards of translating. then prof yang bingjun gave a brief introduction to terminology, pointed the problems existing in term normalization, and explained the purpose and the theoretical bases of his research. prof yang bingjun thought it was not enough to evaluate the degree of term normalization from the perspective of language, but also from the perspective of non-language which contained the integrity of words and the integrity of humanity. he took several examples to illustrate his views subsequently. finally, he came to a conclusion that firstly, the term normalization was a matter of degree; secondly, the evaluation model would be more complete both from the perspective of language and non-language, and what’s more, the key point of term normalization lies not in the conformity but reference.
